“ Visited July 6, 2025 Finally... the Needle Rock experience we've been waiting for! Let me be totally real for a second...we’ve been coming to Needle Rock for nearly five years. FIVE. That’s a lot of views, a lot of friendly faces, and sadly...a lot of underwhelming drinks and inconsistent meals. And yet, we keep coming back because the setting is stunning, the staff is always warm and welcoming, and hey, hope springs eternal, right? Well guess what? This week...hope was rewarded. We sat in the bar this time (yes, that sleek little section with all the good vibes with the terribly uncomfortable chairs, but oh the best place for people watching and making new friends!), and I don’t know what changed in the universe...but magic happened. Kat, the bartender, deserves her own standing ovation. That mojito she made? Hands down the best I’ve ever had at Needle Rock...by far!!! Packed with fresh muddled mint (finally! not just a lazy garnish), a burst of lime, perfectly balanced tartness, icy cold and refreshing. It was summer in a glass and I’m still thinking about it. Kat was funny, warm, and totally nailed the recommendation game. She raved about the wings...and spoiler alert...she was right. I ordered the happy hour wings, and no I didn't share, with all three sauces on the side (because obviously I wanted to try them all), and they were crispy, seasoned beautifully, and hot out of the kitchen. Every single bite was a win...BBQ, buffalo, and sweet chile all had their moment. I may or may not have dipped the carrots in the sauce too. No shame! Raven was our waitress and she crushed it...fast, friendly, funny, and running that bar section like a boss. The kind of server who makes you feel like a regular even if it’s your first time. My husband went for the cheeseburger with crispy bacon and a mountain of golden tots. The burger was juicy, flavorful, and exactly what you want when you’re craving comfort food done right. So yes...after years of “almosts,” this visit was a full-on YES. Great drinks, tasty food, excellent service, and that laid-back, classy club vibe we’ve always wanted this place to fully lean into. “ This is in a gated golf club but is open to the public. I've been here a few times now. The food is very good...exceeds expectations. The restaurant has lots of great seating choices too. In and outside available. The staff is incredible. ”

Happy hour after 2pm features a set of 10 appetizers and cheaper drinks. Great service. We were even given a fan to scare away flies. “ A delightful evening in mid-April on the patio outside with a gorgeous view as the sun set behind us and cast red light on the mountains. Our waitress Debbie was unusually kind and solicitous.... Offering extra water, bringing me another hot cup of au jus for my French dip... Which needed it because the sandwich was so gigantic. By the way it was delicious too! Hot peach cobbler was delicious with ice cream and of course the atmosphere was wonderful with a clear sky balmy breeze, and are entrees were only 19 and 26! ”
